Alan Caldwell Associates Resources

Resourcebook

The re:sourcebook encourages communities to plan effectively for their future. It covers from getting started and establishing a Steering Group to preparing a plan, developing your local organisation and finding the resources to make your plan happen.

The publication was researched and written by Alan Caldwell for the South West of England Regional Development Agency and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation.

The re:sourcebook has been written to support community leaders involved in grass roots planning, regeneration and economic development. It also offers guidance to those working with the community including local authority officers, agency staff, consultants, volunteers and community agents.

Designed to help communities choose the correct legal structure and establish their organisation, this is another publication written for the Development Trust Association Scotland (DTAS). The guide is designed to take a development trust through each step of the set up process and thus avoiding the costs of engaging a solicitor.

The publication is available from DTAS
