Studio Dundee @ Dundee Waterfront

Our latest project, Studio Dundee, will retain graduate talent and promote entrepreneurial talent with a £28 million project on Dundee's exciting new Waterfront Regeneration Project. At the start of 2019, Dundee's creative community can work, stay and play in this fantastic new development.

Alan is providing the project leadership and management for Our Enterprise as their Partnership Director. This ground breaking, energy positive development on Dundee's Waterfront is adjacent to the new railway station and the V & A Museum. At the heart of the development is 'Studio Dundee' a Joint Venture between the Our Enterprise and the City Council. Under the banner of 'Work, stay and play', Studio Dundee will offer of 117 new Build to Rent Apartments above a new co-working and creative workspace. With a membership based model, young graduates and the creative community will be offered a state of the art workspace designed for the changing world of work.

With new technologies reshaping the economy work is no longer a place but a lifestyle. Studio Dundee will encourage new collaborations and innovations by bringing together creatives from across the disciplines. The social hub will offer a cafe/restaurant bar at the centre of the development. With break out spaces, roaming membership, small studio space and workshops equipped with 3D printers and banks of macs linked to the creative cloud, this will be an exciting place to be. As the cafe/bar changes its personality over the course of the day, events will range from inspirational leadership talks to singer songwriter gigs and from marketing seminars to exhibitions showcasing the best of Dundee's design talent.

The rented apartments will have a discreet concierge that takes your amazon parcels during the day, fixes any little issues with your apartment and provides a friendly face in this new community of creatives. Studio, 1 bed and 2 bed apartments are small and beautifully formed with fantastic communal space in the roof terrace and cafe bar restaurant. The only parking provided in for bikes!
